I loved taking photos around Kreuzberg with Katharina! It felt really organic and natural to have have photos taken mid conversation versus trying to stand in one pose for a long time, attempting get the perfect picture. I would totally recommend this special photowalk with Katharina. She's a very kind and open person so it instantly felt like i was with a good friend. We talked about our lifes and got to know each other while we were walking through the beautiful streets of Berlin Kreuzberg. Whenever there was a "photoable" spot we stopped and she took a loooot of pictures. We had so much fun, that i didn't felt embarrassed at all taking pictures in public😁. And it was worth it, she sent me the pictures 3 days afterwards and i'm so glad that i booked this experience. It's perfect if you travel on your own. (btw she gave me very good recommendations for vegan restaurants).

If Kathy’s self-deprecating description of Germans as slow-to-warm-up are accurate, then she is a conspicuous exception. Kathy exuded warmth from the moment we met. 60 seconds into our first conversation we had already discovered a couple of things we had in common and it got better from there. From her deep knowledge of, and love for, the neighborhood, to her charming treasure trove of random trivia, Kathy was a joy to spend time with. Her passion and expertise extend way beyond photography and it is easy to see how she might connect with people of all ages and walks of life. The photowalk was a wonderful experience and I recommend it highly to anyone who is interested in seeing a non-touristy side of Berlin (and if I may, in making a friend in the process). Kathy, She is such a spontaneous, natural, bubbly , sweet person with an impeccable sense of humour , that will make this entire photo walk experience so lively and fun. I had my best time with her and we talked about everything from German culture to history to family to people to fitness. She went out of her way to help me through the Tram and drop me to the hotel. Kathy was such an amazing, talented, friendly and sweet person! She had a really good sense of humor. And this way, she could break the ice and made you feel more comfortable in front of the camera easily. Kathy showed us around the area and took some photos of us, but that's not it though. She knew the history of each area and you could ask her any question, so this trip was also knowledgable as well. Also, it felt like a really personal trip. I just felt like hanging out with my friend while she was taking a photo of me. Her skill in photography was on fleek. I was still hungover from a party and she could make me look amazing, what else do I need to say? haha. I really would love to recommend this to everyone. You won't regret it.

Katy was really an awesome host! We are a family of 3 (two adults with a 21-month old). By booking for 2 adults, the tour became totally private. Katy was great with our daughter and took a lot of family shots for all 3 of us which is so rare to get when we travel with the baby. This was our 3rd trip to Berlin so we were looking for some more unique experience than the usual tourist sites. Katy totally delivered it! We enjoyed our nice stroll through the lovely Kreuzberg neighborhood (which reminds us a bit of Lower East Side in New York City). She also gave us tons of recommendations for local cafes and restaurants. We have tried 2 of her recommendations so far and they were both great!

It was kind of a “surprise/Christmas present” for my partner, as we both love taking pictures but are not quite confident to pose, and of course have never the occasion of being together on pictures. Kathy is an awesome being, fun and cool to be around, lot of laughs, lot of knowledge, and guess what : she made us comfortable posing in front of her camera, something that we are not used to do !
